Today was fishing day for the boys…we had pork kebabs for supper!

The boys were up early, packed lunch, and headed out on the boat. They had no luck fishing at all and I think they were quite disappointed. But it was a beautiful day on the water. The day we were leaving, Ian took the others out fishing and they had quite a successful day. 

We spent the day on the beach and at the pool.  I took a walk to the sandbar.  I think that’s my favourite spot. Today I found some starfish there. 

With the pork kabobs for supper, we had fried rice. I decided we needed a dessert, so I attempted to make a mango cobbler with some canned mangos I found in the cupboard. I used pancake mix, and added sugar, eggs, milk and pancake syrup. It turned out pretty good, and Sarah went to the minimart to get some ice cream to top it.  

We went to the neighbour’s deck for drinks after supper and enjoyed a beautiful display from the moon and clouds. It really is a little piece of paradise here!
